Digital Portfolio: USING WEEBLY
You will create a weebly account, found at weebly.com. Your challenge is to design a web page that displays your work and a summary of each visual challenge we had in class. You can include your own materials, created in various other classes, or on your own time, but I want you to have the experience of compiling your own digital portfolio. Many artists are needing the skill set of creating an interactive web page to market and promote their work. I also would like you to write a brief paragraph about each project we did this semester and include your major takeaways from the project. You may want to look back on your Canvas submissions as a refresher.
I ask NOT to include anything personal, such as home addresses, phone numbers, etc. but I do want you to summarize your intent as an artist. If you feel more comfortable going with a surname/pen name, let me know. When you are finished, you will submit to me a link of your web page in Canvas, and we will post this in a class discussion.
Use your own materials and imagery. I suggest taking photographs, if you want to leave your mark on your web page. We will cover more on how to use weebly in class. If you've never worked with web design, fear not, there's very little coding in weebly!
