Package DESIgn: USING ILLUSTRATOR
You will be creating your own design for a product package. We will research design around us to inspire what the new package will be. You can create a package for a food or cosmetic item. NO GAME REFERENCES. Minimum dimensions are 1"x1"x1". We will be printing these and constructing them as well, so be thinking about how you will hold it all together. Many times package designers will use tabs to hold it all together. Use current products to help you get a feel of how these are assembled. We will map out a core template, but don't be afraid to construct an irregular shaped box. You are able to include the product logo/imagery, but be sure to use original designs for your package design. You are also welcome to construct your own fictional product as well.
